“For me, optometry is more than just seeing 20/20. It is the ability to form close connections with those around me through arguably the most important of our different senses. Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in clinical practice, I aim to deliver cutting-edge care and establish a patient-doctor relationship built on trust, familiarity, and friendship.”

“My passion lies in giving back to the community and learning about my patients’ lifestyle and visual needs so I can find the best solution to help them maintain optimal eye health and vision.”

Dr. Pirooz is a University of California, Berkeley graduate with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Alongside obtaining her bachelors, she worked at the Tang Eye Center on campus. Working with profound doctors and opticians deepened her love for the field of Optometry.

“When I was completing my doctorate in optometry, I enjoyed every aspect of my experience– from research to hands-on patient care. Although I am proud of what I’ve accomplished, I know that a great education alone is not enough. That’s why I continue to take advanced training courses to stay on the leading edge of the profession. It’s the best way for me to help my patients maintain optimum vision health for life”.

“Caring for my patients' vision isn't just a profession; it's my passion. Witnessing the joy on their faces when they see the world clearly fuels my love for this job every day. I want them to leave their exam feeling they received exceptional care every single time.”

"As an optometrist, I want to spread awareness for eye health beyond just glasses. There is a lot of need to see your optometrist even if you are seeing well."
